When I tried to place an item frame on the side of a dirt block in creative mode, the Minecraft window turned a bluish color for a moment and switched to the launcher with a crash report.
What I expected to happen was the item frame to successfully place on the side of the dirt without crashing the game.
What actually happened was the game went light blue, then crashed.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a creative Minecraft world in 14w18a.
2. Hold an item frame in your hand.
3. Move the crosshair onto the side of a block.
4. Right click on the block.
