it causes the same lag in Default textures. and im Using an amd A10 prossesor with HD8750 GPU it works fine in 1.7.2 and 1.7.3 but after that if I go in to 1.7.4 and higher it lags like that. also happened in recent snapshots
Could be caused by something similar to MC-297 , just a wild guess, could be wrong.
Those versions (1.7.4 and up) corrected an issue where view distances above 8 were not properly applied.
well 1.7.4 and up is still not fix.. this video card is not bad I have had it tested and suggest this situation be look in to more because I have seen reports of the same problem!!!!!
The issue @unknown is referring to is MC-5227. The lag you're experiencing is probably caused by that issue (which prevented view distances over 9 from working) being fixed.
There are many factors that can contribute to lag, and it's no surprise that increasing the render distance is one of them. Your FPS is mainly dependant on your CPU and GPU capabilities. The higher the render distance, the more information is being processed. I do however notice that you are also using an HD resource pack. This will also contribute to lag, and I am curious how well your game will perform with the default textures.
