Works as intended, blocks can be mined with the wrong tool/bare hands, it's just slower.

Not so. You can cut slabs of stone or cobblestone with axe as if they were wooden.

Can't reproduce, tested with a diamond axe on a stone slab, still takes a long time.

Joe, not meaning to argue, but this DOES WORK as intended.

Strange... Perhaps this is because of mods ...
