minecraft will not launch

not sure if i am supposed to do something with this email but clicked on it and tried the "fix" and still nothing. can you help?

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.

If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".

I think I have the same but I'm new to all this so've got no idea what to do. Tried that workaround I've seen on another bug report and that didn't do anything, using the latest Java and launcher. Does this mean anything? >>>

it says i have the most up to date file. if i change it technical issues will result. whats my next step
