I was playing Skyblock and was wondering why mobs aren´t spawned.
Then I was going into the debug mode and saw that the light is always on 15, but it was night.
In the nether should everything normal. And when i was in the netherportal the light switched to 14.
The screenshot is not at night, because I missed to do it at night, but it is raining and then it isn´t 15 as well.
Hopefully it is understandable! German language skills 😉

Possible duplicate of MC-911
I created a new world on 14w21b and I had the same problem as well...
So Skyblock doesn´t cause the bug.
I have tested it. When I go into a cave or somewhere without a opening to the sky everything will calculate right, but everytime when I am under the sky the light is 15. So the problem must be the sky.

if it´s only in Skyblock, then ask the creator if he/she can fix it
