While holding control to sprint, pressing the 'D' or strafe right key doesn't allow you to move to the right. It is not a problem with my keyboard, since I can use the D key in other things, and if I am not holding control in-game I can still move to the right.
What I expected to happen:
I can hold control and strafe to the right simultaneously and encounter no problems.
What really happens:
I am unable to strafe right while holding control for a few seconds, like running into an invisible wall.
Steps to reproduce:
Load up any Minecraft world running the newest official release or snapshot, and start sprinting by holding control. Then, hold the D key down and try to strafe right.

Update: Just discovered that the real reason I could not move right was not the game itself, but that Skype hotkeys (I made a CTRL+D hotkey to decline incoming calls) override all other programs and disable the key combination for anything but Skype without any warning or documentation... After uninstalling Skype I found that the issue went away.
Cannot confirm, see screenshots.
