When playing on snapshot 14w25a my FPS much lower than normal. I used to 90 FPS(In Minecraft 1.7.9) and now I get 20 FPS(14w25a). I have been switching between the two versions and get the same results every time. I am playing on max settings if that helps.

Snapshots are VERY laggy, especially with max settings. Make there be fast graphics, minimal particles, etc until you make Minecraft look as bad as possible, then it should work fine. Another reason for this is the possibility of you using Optifine for Minecraft 1.7.9. This increases your frames so much that it seems odd when you cant use it.

Sorry, I should of mentioned I'm running vanilla minecraft. Even with min settings on 14w25a there is only a small improvement. I don't know why but there is a 5 frame difference between min and max settings. Im not complaining, I'm just reporting it.
I noticed some FPS drops to while playing, but i didn't think it was a bug because my computer always gets low FPS.
