Some items float in front of the players hand instead of being held.

Went into f5 on the 14w25b and noticed items floating instead of being held. Went back to 1.7 to see how it should look, and sure enough, this isn't how they're supposed to be.

What I expected to happen was...:
When viewing a player holding an item, the item is in their hand.

What actually happened was...:
Instead, the item was floating in front of their hand.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a world with 14w25b
2. Place a non-tool item in your hand (like an Ender Pearl, or torch).
3 Press f5 until in front-facing third person view.
4. Observe floating item.
