Animals can walk through fences

So in my world I had a chicken and a cow pen with many animals and when i updated all the animals where out of the pens and walking around in both pens. The reason for this is the fence posts are solid but the connectors are not and you can walk through them.

Steps to reproduce:
Put 2 fences together and try walking where they connect and not the posts
