/replaceitem didn't work on superfast clocks

when i use a superfast clock(or even a slow clock using hoppers) the new replaceitem command didn't work. it stops to update and i need to quit and play the world again to it update.
i used the command : /replaceitem entity @p slot.armor.chest minecraft:diamond_chestplate

Confirmed for 14w26b

I can confirm this as well. The command executes the first time and then only when the command is changed I think. Does not continue to replace any item you put in the slot.

yes, if you try to remove the armor, will stay empty and if you try to equip another armor, it will stay equiped

Oh I was using this for slot.inventory and slot.hotbar btw, so it affects those as well as slot.armor

I can confirm in 14w27b. I was using a clock with this command: /replaceitem entity @a slot.hotbar.8 bow and when I removed the bow from slot 9 (8 according to command) it did not give me a new one. I did further testing and by tossing out the bow and then getting a positive comparator output off of this command: clear @p bow 0 0 I confirmed that for some reason it is giving you a ghost item or thinking you have the item even after removing it.

P.S. This is a duplicate of MC-59176

I got this too, I hope that they fix it!
