Stuff Dissapears in 14w26c

When playing on a 14w26b world, and I play the same world on 14w26c, my torches, chest, crafting table, and furnace all disapeared. To replecate, create a world with an older snapshot (mine was 14w26b) place down things like torches and chests. Then, go back to that world in 14w26c. ( Also note that even with the torches gone, the light is still there. Also note that none of the missing blocks are invisible. They are simply gone.)

Right from the post on the website:
If you are updating from 14w26a or 14w26b, your saved world has corrupted blocks and it will be heavily damaged once you open it in 14w26c. Please use a world backup that was saved with a pre-14w26 version.
Never use snapshots without first making backups of your saved worlds.

Just had the 14w26c load in for the first time and my torches have also disappeared. So far as I know, my saved world had no corrupted blocks

Further comment - it appears right now that every made item that was not in my character's possession is gone. Stairs, doors, walls, windows, chests, etc., are gone.

Unfortunately, I did not back-up my world first....

Going back to 14w26b brought some, but not all of my blocks.

Blah, unfortunatly, I did not make a backup for my world, BUT, however, when transfering different worlds, this should not happen in the first place. Besides, before I posted this comment, I never said anything about whether I made backups or not. Ask before you speak.

Lee Stevens, I will try to do the fix that you did later on. Thank you for posting this fix.

Lee Stevens:
Going back to 14w26b is not the solution..
The problem is not in 14w26c, but in a and b, so if you continue to play in a world like that you will never be able to move on to any other version without this happening.

This is why you should always PLAY on stable versions and TEST on snapshots. If you want to play on snapshots, you should also make backups in between every update so that you can go back, because sometimes there might be problems introduced that might not be revertable in the world and the problems might not get noticed untill a couple of snapshots later.

So.. play safe on normal releases and use "protection" if you want to try around with your regular world in a snapshot.

Lee Stevens (and everyone else who comes here), this has been resolved because this is...
1. Invalid (I think it's because of number 2.)
2. Mojang has posted that 14w26c was released to fix an item id bug. That's why this was invalid because it was SUPPOSED to happen. Sorry to waste your time everyone.
