Shift click items

My minecraft glitched out and i can't shift click items from chests or my inventory.I have to drag them to my itembar by holding left click.I have checked my controls and everything is fine.I changed verions and still the same.I even reinstalled minecraft and i still have the same problem.I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a solution to this bug/glitch.It really pisses my off:/ Thanks🙂
