Upon entering the game my character jerks around and is unable to move. I have to break the block under me in order to be 'released' but this can be awkward as the jerking can knock the pointer off the block (and even worse if I was to land on a stone block)
I cant remember when this started but I believe it was around 1.4.6 and has continued. Having just downloaded 13w01a and went to test it on single player, the issue is still there.
It doesn't happen on creative as far as I have seen and tested.

Tell your character NOT to jerk off when you want to play with him. Should help. 😉

1) that page is more about suffocating inside of a block then the actual player jerking around.
2) I did search but jerking did not come up. I couldnt think of what else someone might call it.
His description is: When spawning in a new world you can rarley suficate in a wall/ block
Mine doesnt suffocate. I just cant move around. I'm not sure if he means he is stuck under the blocks, or stuck on the land block but the way I am assuming his description is that he's actually under the ground or in a mountain wall of some kind which is completely different to what I am describing.
