Invisible fire on top of sponges

When igniting the top of a sponge block, fire is not displayed.
Affects both "normal" sponges and wet sponges.

Relaunching Minecraft fixed it.

Cannot confirm. A newly placed spong is showing the fire animation without restarting the world.
