Looking at a floating top half of a double plant crashes the game

When you look at a glitched floating top half of a double plant (created when the worldgen overwrites the bottom half), the game crashes.

What I expected to happen was...:
The bounding box to appear around the block and the block data to appear on the F3 screen (if enabled).

What actually happened was...:
The game crashed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Look at a glitched floating top half of a double plant.
2. See that the game crashes

This may have something to do with trying to display the block info on the F3 screen.
