Same Issue Here.
I have a mac running 10.9.4 and java 7 update 60, so I can confirm its cross platform.
Note on the bug info: it would be more accurate and easier to find, for this bug to be put down as affecting Minecraft not the Minecraft Launcher. Also then it can be put down as affecting 14w27b in the Affects Version/s.
