Painting/item frame and a torch can be placed in the same spot.

I have placed a painting next to a torch, and the painting happens to go right behind the torch like they isn't even a torch there, and this also happens with the redstone torch as well.
And it's not just the paintings that does this, but also item frames have been doing the same thing as well even with an item in the frame.
