On a signle player minecraft game, i will plant the seeds, then when they are fully grown you can jump on top of the seeds to get the food you planted as seeds before. i can also use other tools to get the food i planted as a seed before. But on my minecraft server for my friends to come on from thier houses, we cannot do what i just explained.
What I expected to happen was...:
for the seeds to grow and give me the food i grew
What actually happened was...:
that when i jumped on top of the produce or used a tool to get my food that i planted, it doesnt give me anything.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plant any type of food
2. wait for it to grow
3. use a tool or jump on top of the plants to get what you planted. but all it gives you is nothing

on a signal player world, I was in creative and survival and tried it. They both worked. On my server, I cant farm in survival or creative.
You cannot and could never farm in creative mode, regardless if single player or multi player. The plant blocks are always broken without dropping anything.

I meant "you cannot farm in creative by breaking blocks". That you can gain seeds and wheat in creative by trampling blocks is out of question.
