Please redirect this bug report to the Pocket Edition project. There's no Minecraft Pocket Edition option under Project selection when creating an issue
I'm unable to use a furnace with either of the control options. No menu appears when you try to tap on it, tap and hold on it, or break and replace.
MC:PE bug reporting has been suspended on the Mojira. Please report bugs related to MC:PE via Google+, Reddit, or the Minecraft Forums.
Regarding the bug itself, I can't confirm this on my iPad Air.
