In 1.7, a blast of TNT destroyed more surrounding stone blocks than in 1.8. Replicate this by examining the aftermath of a TNT block lit within a 3x3 or 5x5 cube of stone.

This bug is a fundamental flaw that nerfs all TNT mining and excavation in 1.8 Survival, I do hope it's not overlooked.
