Immediately after logging into minecraft, I went to video settings and turned on VBO. I then created an new world in creative mode. When I attempted to break a block, the particles were released, but the block didn't disappear. But when I walked over it, I still fell into the ground. Then I went to the menu and turned off VBO. The world re-rendered and all the fake-broken blocks vanished. Then I tried to break more blocks, but the same thing happened, even with VBO off.
