[MC-62484] Potions/En. Books with purple overlay adds lag.

Anything with the shiny purple overlay on potions or enchanted books adds some lag. When entering the "Brewing" tab in Creative Mode, it becomes difficult to navigate out. Even in the "Weapons" tab, the books with this same feature cause the same problem. Even in the hotbar; anytime you see a potion or Enchanted Book.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

Please attach screenshots with debug screen (F3) enabled:

with enchanted book in hotbar

You might enable VBOs in the video settings and you might install Catalyst 14.7-rc http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx to see if this improves anything.

Having no difference in FPS .
You have:

OpenGL: AMD Radeon HD 8650G GL version 4.4.12874 Compatibility Profile Context 14.100.0.0, ATI Technologies Inc.

I have:

OpenGL: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series GL version 4.4.12967 Compatibility Profile Context 14.200.1004.0, ATI Technologies Inc.

Your Radeon is way better than mine, you shouldn't have less FPS than me. Compare your to my video settings
