Single 16x16 chunks of land generating completely separate biomes than the rest of the environment around it. (Most noticeable in desert and mesa biomes)

sorry, forgot to mention that this was a "Large Biome" world. I thought that would show up on the F3 screen...
Re-created the world using the "re-create world" button. the bug did not happen again. No idea how to replicate what happened. My world now looks like the screenshot you sent...
Did you maybe had a world with the same name before which you deleted then and created a new (this world) with the same name? I think this bug is already reported, that when the deleting progress is not completely finish, some chunks will be in the new world
Maybe this: MC-315
When MC-315 happens, then complete blocks / chunks are used from the old world, but in this case the height profile is matching the desert biome, only the biome code is set to plains or whatever.
Nevertheless, this cannot be reproduced.
Please provide the seed.
