[MC-62672] wont let me play past 1.6.4 after attempting to get mods for 1.7.10 now it crashes stating that it couldnt create a child loop and says it faid to create a socket what do i do?

i tryied everything to get it to work it just wont it keeps crashing ever since i tried downloading the mods i cant get it to work i really need help can someone fix this plz
