When you block with a sword it looks like it's not fully crossing your body

Conor, if Mojang resolves a bug report as intended, then its intended. They don't need to explain why it is intended.

Work as intended... Really?

It works well on 1.6.4 and before, now it's a simply bug, so you can easily fix this.

It was more beautiful in 1.6.4 Now it looks ugly.

blocking is going to be removed for as far as i can find. in 1.9 you will have to use a shield to block.
