Stairs do not connect properly.

I was trying to make a giant staircase, when the stairs connected into a nasty form. Here is proof: try to make a 4x4 stair block.

Try it yourself, if you make a 4x4 block of stairs, it will not make a pyramid shape like it should.

Notice in my attachment, all of those stairs should be forming pyramid-
like shapes.

You mean a 2x2 block of stairs? Because that's what you're showing in the picture, and those work completely fine so long as you place the stairs facing the right ways.
