Crashed when trying to access the banners in the snapshot 14w30c

When i tried to access the banners in minecraft snapshot 14w30c the game crashed giving me a crash report stating that it couldn't register the texture. it gave this line of code right under neath the crash description "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown image type 0"

I attached the crash report to this bug report in order to attempt to help you with this problem

I thought i would be able to at least mess around in my minecraft snapshot world with the banners to see what i could come up with. insteadthe game crashed and left me wondering why i couldn't access the banners.

Steps to Reproduce:
multiple ways for this bug to occur

Way #1
1. go to creative
2. click on decorations tab
3. scroll down to banners
4. game crash

Way #2
1. use sticks and wool to create a banner in a crafting bench
2. game crash when crafting recipe is complete

Way #3
1. spawn banner using /give command
2. game crash
