Perform this command
/worldborder center ~ ~
Then this
/worldborder set 60000000
And then use this command
/tp ~ ~ 29999999.999
Now you see the size is not correct

Yes you were right the tp command I added was wrong here but when I used it, I used (29999999)
Yes and then you will see the bug (see Screenshot)
What bug ? That the actual world border is 1 chunk smaller than 30 Mio ? That's intended because of rendering 1 chunk behind the world border.
That's because the world border shouldn't end abrupt in the void, therefor the "real end" is at 30 Mio but the world border is at 30 Mio - 1 chunk
That makes no sense then you should only be able to set the worldborder to 59,999,968 or to the exact 60,000,000
I don't understand why they over-complicate it so much
Fist why should there 1 chunk outside when you can't use it then as you can't build outside
When the limit get changed to a higher value they have to change this again
The worldborder at the 30,000,000 makes more sense as the world closes after this position and then the the worldborder and the world would have the same limit
Use
