I was planning to shoot fireworks when 1.4.6 was released. I then noticed I could only craft them.

that's because it caused a lot of confusion among players. it was removed by jeb and dinnerbone on purpose. not a bug!
I did not say it was a bug. Just a suggestion/issue that should be improved.

As you see in my attachment, I searched for items with tag "rocket." All was shown is a firework star.
