Going back to play beta/alpha Minecraft version, (back when you had to push "I" to open my inventory) then going back to play New versions of minecrft. I would Still have to push "I". I find this really annoying and was wondering if you could fix it.

When going back to play a beta/alpha version of Minecraft, (back when you had to push "I" to access your inventory) and then going back to play New versions of the game. you would Still have to push "I". I find this really annoying and was wondering if you could fix it.

What I expected to happen was: Press "E" to open your inventory.
I thought you should be able to press "E" to open your inventory instead of "I".
What actually happened was: I was only able to Press "I".
I tried to press "E" to open my inventory but i couldn't.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to play a version of Miencraft were you have to Press "I" to open your inventory. (Beta 1.0)
2. Then play a version a newer version (1.7.10)
3. From my experience that should trigger the bug (Only sometimes this works).
