Have tamed rabbits and can't get them to breed after multiple attempts

Tried upgrading to 14w31a, still no change in rabbit behavior. On a multiplayer server of mine.

You need to use golden carrots or dandelions in order for them to be tamed.

Are they running away from you? You may need to get further away from them. Also, I've managed to breed Rabbits once before, so..?

Nah they hang around and follow as normal. Not sure what issue is.

Ok, seems to be just a graphical error with the taming. After some messing around got it to work, but rabbits sprout hearts everytime you use carrot golden carrot and dandelion. No fail animation, have only seen it a couple times and just for a frame or two. Thanks for the help anyway.
