Mobs are not spawning in my 3in1 gold farm at y- 249 in the nether.

Mob spawning is normal all other Places, it is only above Bedrock (y-129 and up I think it is) nothing spawns. Works fine in 14w30c. Seed is Glacier

Unable to reproduce. Able to get mobs to spawn all the way up to Y=255.

I have been using 14w30c (a backup) and changed that to 14w32a today and mobs spawn again! I dont know if anything has been changed but it Works fine now in 14w32a.
