Minecarts are not working properly

Cannot Reproduce

Minecarts are slower than walking and sometimes stop all together on unpowered tracks after immediately going of powered ones. I have a long minecart track and after the minecart leaves the powered rails it stops all together.

Unable to reproduce. Can you attach a screenshot of the rail configuration you're using?

Are you using 100% powered rails? If so, the unpowered version acts as a brake, explaining the problem.
