When a Horse is Spawned into a world the Horse appears then the screen freezes, cursor appears in load/work icon.

When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp .
I think the same thing happened to me a long time ago when I was used to have java 6. I upgraded to Java 7 then I upgraded again to java 8. This problem is not occurring to me anymore.
