Placement of slabs next to stairs seems bugged

I tried to place a wooden slab next to a wooden stair (upper half) but it place sometimes the slab above the stair. The stair's hitbox seems bugged too : when we aim the "upper full half" of the stair, there is no contour of the block, like it was transparent (see files).
