In the settings for Minecraft's key bindings I changed my "pick block" button to "Mouse 4." It works fine with normal block picking in creative mode, but when I tried to pick a block with NBT data by pressing CTRL+Mouse 4 nothing happens. I changed the key bindings back to normal, and it works just fine.

Still present in 14w33c; reproduced with a Logitech mouse with pick block mapped to 'Button 4,' pick block worked normally after bound to middle click and also when mapped to keyboard button. Seems to be an issue with extra buttons on the mouse.
