Pick Blocking an Inverted Daylight Sensor doesn't work

What I Expected To Happen: Pick block the inverted daylight sensor and obtain a daylight sensor

What Really Happened: Pick blocking the inverted daylight sensor neither gave me a daylight sensor, nor switched to the one in my inventory.

Steps To Reproduce:
1.) Obtain a daylight sensor in Minecraft 14w31a+
2.) Place the daylight sensor
3.) Invert the daylight sensor (right clicking)
4.) Attempt to pick block the daylight sensor
