When thorns damage kills the mob, and with the sword with looting in the hand at time of death of mob, it is affected by looting. It doesn't damage the sword, and it works with mob heads thorns but I haven't tested other things.

No it is.not looting works in latest. Snapshots with thorns killing. Mobs read the tixcket thorns with looting.g wkrks
