[MC-68125] Vanishing Books!

Using the book and quill in creative, i wrote a book to test a redstone dispenser system. I put it in the dispenser, it dispensed the book, only my inventory was full, and when i picked it up, it was gone forever, it was not left on the floor and was not in my inventory, i also checked the dispenser...

Items picked up whilst you creative inventory is full will kill off the overflow. This is intended.

This just happened to me, but my inventory was not full. Playing on a 1.10 server jar file, in a 1.9.4 generated world. I was in creative mode, I had the book & quill in an item frame on the wall in my house. When I removed it from the item frame, the book & quill vanished. It is gone forever. 😞
