I was playing creatively, and I found out if you hold something in your hand (say item 1) and go into the creative item menu, and click n that item (in hot bar slot 1) a lot, then it will disappear.

This does not only happen in creative mode. I lost my good diamond sword. :/

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
