The "sizeinBlocks" and the "timeinSeconds" are required for the commands to function.

Well in game it just throws "An unknown error occured while attempting to perform this command" without explaining how do we use that command.

"/worldborder set" shows how to use the command but the commands I mentionned just throws the error

Well why should this be invalid, leaving out an argument should probably not cause an error message like this

Confirmed for 1.8.2-pre1
Please reopen

Marcono, the commands literally require both of those things in order for the commands to function.

Here are the syntaxes for both commands:

/worldborder warning distance <sizeInBlocks>
/worldborder warning time <timeInSeconds>

If they were completely optional, they would've been like so:

/worldborder warning distance [sizeInBlocks]
/worldborder warning time [timeInSeconds]

When doing "/worldborder warning time" or "/worldborder warning distance", instead of showing this :

An unknown error occurred while attempting to perform this command

It should show :

Syntax : /worldborder warning time <timeInSeconds>

or

Syntax : /worldborder warning distance <sizeInBlocks>

respectively

(PS : I edited a little bit the title to reflect the real problem)

Sonic, the game still should not throw an error but instead show the correct syntaxt. It is like using only /give @p which also doesn't throw an error

Affects minecraft 1.8.4 – though no stacktrace is printed anymore, it still says "An unknown error occurred while attempting to perform this command".
