Chat GUI doesn't align previous text correctly

Porbably this was alread reported, but I couldn't find it, so I am really sorry if this is a duplicate 😞

How to reproduce:

  1. Enter this in your chat:

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX <============

  2. Then this:

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  3. Then open your chat and press the UP-ARROW key twice

You will see that the half of the text is missing even it would fit perfect in the line

Comment by @unknown: this happens because the game saves the distance that was scolled over when moving to a different message.

Confirmed. The text is unnecessarily shoved to the left.

Confirmed in 1.9.3-pre2. To clarify the description, this happens because the game saves the distance that was scolled over when moving to a different message.

After changing MC-3900 to text boxes in general, this is now a duplicate of it.
