Still can't join public servers

I haven't been able to join any public servers for about 2 years now. here is what happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbuCT599J9k

I have tested this in a vanilla server in 1.8-pre3 with the same result.

Yesterday it managed to let me on to another server, but after windows updated, i got the same results in the video.
