Banner Scroll Click

When in Creative Mode, using the scroll click on your mouse usually gives you the block you were looking at as a copy on your main bar. But with the banners, when I attempt to scroll click on a banner, no matter what color it is, it gives me a black banner instead of the banner's real color.
