Went to launch minecraft. It downloaded 1.8 Once it gets to the Mojang screen it loads for a minute then crashes.

What I expected to happen was that I open the Minecraft Launcher shortcut click play, and the game launch to the title screen.

What happened is that I clicked the laucher shortcut, saw that 1.8 was out got really excited and read over the updates, then clicked play got the usual Mojang screen then a crash screen saying, "No really that was supposed to happen..." followed by, " You should try our sister game Minceraft!" lol

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Launcher
2. Click Play
3. Wait for game to load.
4. Wait for it
5. Wait for it
6. Crash!!!
