I tamed 4 wolfes in 1.8. If i run they should normally teleport to me but after a certain distance they stop following and just waiting till i come closer to them.
They dont teleport or run towards me.
I tested it in a flat world and it doesnt work too.

this is happening to me as well, tested on several 1.8 worlds with both walking, running, and on horseback. i dont know if this bug affects cats as well, but assuming they use the same code for following/teleporting, it is likely.
