When I destroy a block it will not go away.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected the block to go away when I destroy it

What actually happened was...:
When I destroy the block it will make the correct sounds but will not dissappear. I cannot walk through it, but sometimes after a couple of seconds it will go away.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start up the game
2. ...destroy a block (leaves and sand are the worst)
3. ...
