2x written books not accepted by librarian for emerald

Librarian villager won't accept 2x written books in each of the slots provided in exchange for an emerald. Both books are signed with the same book name, but one of them has different content to the other. Placing one in each of the slots doesn't make the villager offer an emerald.

The librarian will accept the books if you give them a stack of 2, either by making identically-titled books with identical content or by making copies.

It may be time to fix MC-30415.

If you're going to mark this as a duplicate of MC-30415, you should probably reopen that until Mojang developers decide if the current confusing behavior (2 of a mostly-non-stackable item needing to be stacked) is really intended.

This is NOT resolved and is NOT a duplicate of MC-30415. You can not stack written books in 1.8.1, yet Librarian villagers require 2 stacked written books to trade.

To duplicate this bug. 1) Create a written book and sign it. 2) Create a copy of the book. Notice, they do not stack. 3) Attempt to trade with Librarian 2 written books. 4) Fail trade not possible.

Important Note: Occasionally I can get duplicate the written books to stack, ( It's random and I don't know how to duplicate) Once stacked, the Librarian will trade.

Written books must have the same title, author, contents, and generation ("original", "copy of original", "copy of copy") in order to stack. You're probably not paying attention to the generation.

Still present in 1.8.3.
