[MC-71331] I lost all my chest item and inventory

I've lost all the item contain in every chest of every saved game and all the players inventory as well.

Did you downgrade versions at any point. Going from 1.8 to lower versions will cause this.

My kid does (they probably don't know how however!). Is there anyway to get the items back?

If the items are lost, it's most likely they cannot be retrieved.

The items are definitely lost. (as long as you don't have a current backup....)
