[MC-71399] the launcher won't let me play online, then when it tries to load a world, the whole game crashes

I bought the game a year ago, and have been playing fine up until this past Wednesday 9/3/14
Now, the launcher wont load properly; the tab that says "update notes" is totally blank, and it only gives me the option to play offline.

when i click to play offline, the game starts up normally, but when I try to open a saved map or create a new one, the game crashes.

i sent this problem in on that Wed, but didn't fill out the complaint right, and it was closed because you people thought i pirated the game WHICH I DID NOT.

I re-installed Java to see if that would fix the problem and it did not
I also deleted all Minecraft files from my computer and re-installed it from your website https://minecraft.net/ , but this didnt help either,

i am attaching the crash report and hopefully you guys can help me get the game that i paid for up and running

Duplicate of MC-34749. Something like your antivirus or firewall software is blocking java.

my firewall and my security system does let Java and Minecraft through, my launcher still wont load correctly or go online and the game still crashes when i try to load a world
